5th - 8th Youth Group

The Fellowship of St. Joseph

A Catholic youth group open to all kids in grades 5-8

Our Method

The basic method that has always existed within Christianity, since its beginning, is that of companionship: Jesus invited John and Andrew to follow him, then they shared their growing relationship with other people. There is no life of faith without a community.

Our aim is for the kids who participate in the Fellowship to experience a 360 degree view of what it means to have faith: In addition to regular Mass attendance, moments of prayer, and participation in faith-based programs, the life of the Church is precisely that - a life! We want to live this life to the fullest, together.

The Meetings

During an evening together we will: start with the Angelus, play games, then share a moment of reflection and prayer based on the life of a saint, the Rule of the Fellowship, or another relevant text.

Calendar

We now have our calendar of Friday's for January through June! The dates are in the attached flyer, but here are the when and where details:

All are welcome!

Please know that kids are welcome to join us at any time during the year! We ask that parents fill out this brief form to sign kids up.

Recent FELLOWSHIP

On December 23rd, we met to decorate the Church and ended up caroling at the Community Table also. Hopefully, during the Christmas Masses, the kids could look around and see one small but meaningful way in which they helped to build up our Church community. We were hard at work so I was only able to nab two pictures of the kids in action (attached)!

MN Fellowship Summer Vacation – Save these Dates

Like last year, we will once again have the opportunity to go on Vacation together with groups from St. Peter's in North St. Paul and St. Cloud. The dates this year are 6/23-27. Many more details to come, but please save those dates! The 10 kids from our parish who attended last year had a great time. This year we will also find a way to fundraise to help cover the cost of registration.
